Annie And The Elephants – An Insight Into Limitless Possibilities

I met this vibrant, sassy young woman today at our local university, and we got to talking. I’ll call her Annie. Now, I always love to get right to the point and find out where people are at with their life and where things are headed.

To my huge delight, Annie was an exuberant ball of energy and high in passion. She was doing a double degree of Zoology and Law! Wow! Her most favourite thing in the whole world, she said, was elephants.

(Annie was going to work later on that evening as a nightclub bar worker. Like many students.)

So I suggested to her to craft her passion and skills into an online business all about elephants.

On the site, she could add everything everyone ever wanted to know about elephants. She could add elephant fables, myths, stories. She could establish her identity as the Elephant Queen, and write blogs on various aspects – conservation, health, breeds, or just about anything.

To monetise her site, she has the options of hosting ads and sponsorships on her site. She could create her own lines of products through places like Zazzle or Cafepress – stickers, coffee mugs, t-shirts, etc, etc, etc. Even books. Or she could sell other people’s books about elephants, plush toys, or elephant feet umbrella holders (just kidding on this last one), and make a commission on what she sells.

Annie was beginning to see the possibilities. She said she absolutely loves writing and could do it all day. That would make an online business even more viable.

“And imagine if you do get this up and running, Annie. Heck, you might not ever be interested in working for anyone else, in looking for a job. You could put your skills and training to work on behalf of elephants, or other causes you eventually become passionate about”.

But then Annie kinda crashed. “I wouldn’t know where to start!”

“Ah”, I said, like a spider to a trapped fly, “that’s where I come in. I can help you to get a vision together, to get your bearings, to help you understand what you would need to learn, point you to some great resources for you to choose from, to outline a strategy, and send you on your way”

Annie was impressed. She said that no one else had ever been able to help her see a future for her passion, and she was almost resigned to it simply being a fanatical hobby.

That’s what I live for – to bring YOUR dream into the spotlight and to help bring it to life!

What passion do you have that you would love to devote your life to, but can’t see how?  Bounce me a quick note and we can explore the possibilities :D

Millions Of Millionaires – How To Become One Of Them

This is the time of the GEC – usually referred to as the Global Economic Crisis, but I prefer to think it stands for the Great Entrepreneurial Challenge.

Creating fear is a powerful instrument of control, and our society is very good at it.

Fortunately, increasing numbers of people are waking up to this fact, and opting out of conventional lifestyles and creating the life of their dreams.

And the key to freedom and wealth for everyday folk like you and I? One word. Internet.

The internet provides unprecedented opportunity for you to take control of your life. Especially if you’re a creative type, like I am.

I have ALWAYS wanted to be a published writer of self-help books, but I’ve always thought I’d have to write a “real” book and then wait to be picked up by an editor, so the image of struggling writer was strong in my mind.

womanworkingatlaptop My “aha” moment came only after I had watched The Secret movie. I love this movie by the way, so naysayers be warned – I will defend it vigorously. Anyway, on following up on the movie, going online and being led to Joe Vitale’s web page, I saw a great example of what I could feasibly achieve.

Thus the next stage of my journey began – that of internet entrepreneur, sometimes called “netpreneur”. Or, more correctly, I started my education of how to be an internet entrepreneur.

And although I believe in continuous learning, I feel ready now to proceed into ACTION! Yayyyyyy!

The internet is simply a creative tool that can reach out to millions of potential clients, customers or readers across the world. It is a tool to create freedom.

It can be mastered, even if you are non-technically inclined. (I know enough just to be dangerous, ;D). So lack of technical skills is absolutely NO excuse.

So then. What about YOU? When are YOU going to start?
