It's all about the energy of life, so stop wasting your will power!

Most people think there is no money to be made from their passion. From school days, well meaning parents and teachers would encourage a creative and passionate student to “get a real job” with the explicit message that there is no point to investing time, money and education into developing some obscure or “arty-farty” skill.
Passionate interests were destined to be hobbies, or as a motif in self-expression. But to actually commit your life to fulfilling your passion? No Way! And to actually have that passionate interest provide you with a life of unimagined income? Only rock stars have that dream come true. Not the everyday person!
If this is your thinking, well, think again. The internet is now here, and provides previously unheard of opportunities to rebuild your career totally focused around your passion. How?
1. Blogs – Begin a blog about your topic that you are passionate about. Start writing about your topic, what excites you, what people need to know about the topic, your personal experiences. Make money from your blog by selling advertising on your blog, or by selling other people’s products on commission or by creating some of your own products to sell.
2. Create an online store – sell books, fun stuff, serious stuff, clothes, and all kinds of stuff associated with your theme. You don’t have to physically have to store all the items you sell, but you research all the separate sellers of items realted to you topic, and you bring them together on your site so that it’s a “one stop shop” for anyone else who shares your interest.
3. Become An Expert – Create a site (not a blog) that is full of information related to your passion. Include, amongst other things, its history, it’s cultural differences, it’s different variations. If your field is too large, narrow it down to a thinner segment. You can always expand later. Income opportunities are similar to what you can do on blog sites. And you can include an online store too.
4. Teach – Do you like to share your passion with others? Can you figure out a way to teach by correspondence? If so, then take your teaching online, and enrol students from all around the world, who then receive your course (referred to as an “e-course” when it’s done online) automatically, either as one big download, or as regular, smaller lessons. In fact, teaching online has exploded in the last few years. Who would have thought that people are so hungry to learn?
5. Write – There has always been a market for “how to” manuals and guides. So if your passion lends itself to that genre, there is a wealth of opportunity for you. And if you’re a fiction writer, there are also opportunities for you to write for online audiences as well, although the habit of reading fiction online is not yet so well established. However, there are great networking opportunities online, so you can begin to get exposure for your work and for yourself as a “personality”. Freelance writing is another income earning option, where you can write copy for web pages and sales letters (very lucrative if you’re good at it), or ghost write books or articles for others. And there are even ways you can sell hard copies of your book with a new technology breakthrough called “print on demand”. This takes the angst out of waiting for a publisher to discover you!
