Struggling To Get Enough Clients? Help Is At Hand.

Let me say at the outset that I just love learning, and I am always prowling for quality stuff that’s affordable (none of those mega-thousand dollar programs for me – at least not yet) ;D

And I rarely buy straight away. I like to gather the information and then sit on it for a while. And I have a pop-up that I created in my Outlook reminder system that reminds me that the opportunity of a lifetime comes around every few days. Well, certainly on the internet, LOL! I felt I had to put that reminder to myself, to counteract the pressure of urgency that so many marketers put in their messages.

So it was with the Client Attraction Home Study System. I hovered around this site for a few weeks, after getting her complimentary CD sent to my door. I knew I wanted it – I certainly knew that I needed it. But it was just a matter of jiggling the finances to give it the go-ahead. Fortunately they have a pay-it-off-monthly option. Fabienne is sympathetic to the plight of the struggling business owner.

As a counsellor and coach myself, I quickly connected with Fabienne on a personal admiration level, because she also came from a similar background, as a nutritional consultant. I also connected with her personal story of struggling to make her business work, and having many moments of quiet desperation at how all the bills would be paid. How many of us can relate to that, hm?

For many of us, we yearn for a life of freedom, of being our own boss, of doing things our way, or being only directly accountable to the client and to the universe. And how many of us learn the hard way that the skills required to be a good business woman are totally different to those that make us good at our specialty.

In my early business days, I went to local business development programs, and learned all about the nuts and bolts – market research, managing financials, mission statements, yadda yadda yadda – but I couldn’t really fit it into my personal situation. Many such programs stress the point of being sufficiently capitalised before venturing into the world of business, and I admit, I was chronically undercapitalised. So I took personal responsibility for my own failure to cut it as a business woman, and my self-confidence, especially around money, took a dive.

Fortunately, I am stubborn. I continued to be determined to find a way to make it work. I loved seeing successful people around me, and online, but I also especially loved hearing their stories of how they became successful, because many times they had failed before, just like me. And so I became re-inspired that maybe I, too, could come back from the depths of ignominity.

An Ideal Program For The Creative, Passionate But Disorganised Business Person

This video is from a live workshop version of her course. Remember, I’m writing about the home study version. Same basic content that she speaks about, plus you get a “taste” of Fabienne’s style and energy.

What makes this program stand out is that it honours the spiritual purpose behind our business. It recognises that our chosen business is central to our spiritual learning. So that immediately sits well with me, and made me realise how soul-less my previous business training had actually been. So, it wasn’t all my fault after all!

Not that Fabienne allows that as a reason to be sloppy in business. No, she is a hard taskmaster. She gives you LOTS of assignments.

The course is delivered as an actual folder, which is useful, because how many e-courses have we enrolled in that we forget about simply because it is out of sight? At least, sitting on a shelf in a prominant position, you have a constant reminder of your commitment (Oh, yeah, and she asks you to fill out a written statement to yourself about completing the course faithfully).

There are 10 sections, 46 worksheets and 4 CD’s in the package. In my opinion, the most powerful of the CD’s was “Niche To Be Rich” because it honed in on one of my fundamental issues – who was I trying to market to?

I know a LOT of people struggle with this too. You see a lot of vague, waffley web sites, that don’t make it very clear who or what their business is about. I’m tempted to send these people a link to Fabienne’s Client Attraction website.

In my personal history, although I have always wanted to help people – who doesn’t? – I’ve developed quite a repertoire of skills. Feng Shui, Reiki, Past Life Work, Tarot Reading, not to mention the conventional stuff. But Fabienne asks “what excites you most of all?”. “What would you still do, even if you won the lottery and never needed to work again?”

Because she recognises that for it to be a spiritually focussed process, it needs to be fully joyful. No compromising. No coming from fear. Make all decisions based on what energises you. Even down to being selective about what clients you work with.

Fabienne also stresses the critical importance of being authentic to yourself and to the client – and this also answered some of my key questions about how to shape my persona. Easy, I just had to be myself.

Now, the 10 sections broken down.

The first section

is about what you do with your time, and how to better arrange it. Initially, my eyes glazed over when I saw what I thought I had seen before. Yeah, stop reading so many emails, yeah, don’t answer the phone so much.

But, I did start to get excited when I saw an example of Fabienne’s own schedule. She takes clients only three days a week, for three weeks every month. Plus she has two further weeks scheduled off each year for vacations, and with a few 5-week months thrown in here and there, this would make almost 16 weeks off every year. Now THAT could work for me. Now I was willing to go back to the beginning and read this section with renewed interest.

Section Two

is about getting clear on your expertise and on your niche. I actually had a lot of fun with this because I delight in self-discovery. I love getting rid of clutter – especially mental clutter. But it wasn’t easy.

This was one of those sections where you need to let your mind stew on a few points, while you wait for that “aha” realisation to spring forth. You will know in your gut when you have arrived at the right level of awareness.

However, it sets the scene for all the other work you need to do, so don’t skip over it too quickly. It is like gaining laser sharp insight into your life-purpose, and it just energises all your business building activities, and stops so much re-work and back-tracking.

Section Three

is a lot of fun too. Identifying your ideal client. How many of us helping-types have had their energy sucked dry from needy, demanding clients. (Pick me!) Sure takes the edge off the joy of being in business, huh?

So in this section, Fabienne gets you to be clear about your ideal client and how to find lots of them. Without spending a lot of money.

Section Four

begins to put power into your communications with potential clients. You know the old elevator speech schtick? Yep, she has it too, but Fabienne does it in a way that has more soul to it. You’ll be very happy with the way you’re compelling message helps you stand out from your competitors.

Section Five

Another yummy section. Now that you know exactly what you just LOVE to do, and where to find the perfect clients, and how to win them over with the perfect spiel, what will you sell ‘em?

In this section, Fabienne invites you to explore a few possibilities and guide you to what’s right for you and your clients and their budgets.

Section Six

More marketing in this section, but focusing on sweetening it up so that clients actively seek you out. Fabienne guides you to put your compelling “Pull Marketing” messages onto your website, your business card (of course), your email signature, your voicemail, and ezine.

Section Seven

Now that you’ve got the foundations in place, it’s ready to get out there, girlfriend! But be warned, Fabienne is a networking fiend. She’s a Leo so she’s a natural infront of the spotlight. That’s something this little fishy has to work hard at.

Section Eight

Develop your own marketing plan based on what fits well with you, and what is effective and efficient, based on your past clients, where they came from and how they found you.

Section Nine

What about all those people who make enquiries about your services but then drift away, never to be heard from again? In this section, Fabienne shares her secrets that have allowed her to close ove 90% of all sales.

Do you hate having to sell? So do most of us. Fabienne, however, provides us with her successful soft closing script that will not feel like you’re pushing the client, but will win you their business in a friendly and warm way.

Section Ten

Did I mention yet that Fabienne is also the System Queen? Well, in this section, she encourages you to systemise as much of your marketing as you can so that your practice or business is constantly full when you want it to be.

Look, whether you have an online or offline business, whether you have been in business a long time but looking to do it better, or are just starting out, Fabienne’s Home Study Course is THE go-to guide if you are looking for something you want to do at your own pace in your own time and just blows the socks off most standard business courses.

If you were planning to do a course in business, then , seriously, don’t look any further. This IS truly as good as it gets, at least to get from struggling to successful. There are more potent courses you will be able to afford to do later, getting you from successful to super-successful, but for this early stage of your business development, look no further.

It takes between 3 to 6 months to do thoroughly, after which you’ll have all the tools, skills and confidence to build the business – and life – of your dreams.
